Northwestern    in    Brazil

We are a group of graduate students from Northwestern studying the solid waste recycling system in Brazil. We are looking at the whole value chain from the catadores that pick up recyclables from the street to the manufacturers and suppliers that repurchase the recycled materials. This two-week trip is part of a multidisciplinary course through the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. We are excited to learn about the Brazilian culture and experience everything the country has to offer.
